Director of Academic Excellence – Remote

About the role

We are seeking a senior leader to shape and scale our evidence‑based learning model that enables students to achieve twice the learning rate in just two hours per day. This remote, executive‑level position will drive academic strategy, ensure consistent implementation across schools, and serve as the public face of the movement.

Key responsibilities

• Design academic structures that translate learning science into curriculum development, student motivation frameworks, and application architecture.
• Conduct academic performance reviews with Heads of Academics to keep school teams aligned, accountable, and outcome‑focused.
• Integrate data analysis, stakeholder interviews, and field observation into comprehensive ecosystem assessments, identify critical obstacles, and recommend concrete interventions.
• Maintain strategic coherence through planning cycles, feedback mechanisms, and progress monitoring to sustain focus on student learning objectives.
• Represent 2 Hour Learning at senior forums, keynote platforms, and engagements with Ministries of Education to influence systemic transformation worldwide.

Required profile

• Advanced degree (Master’s or Ph.D.) in education, learning science, or a related field.
• Proven track record of building and scaling academic systems with measurable impact.
• Executive accountability experience leading high‑caliber academic teams.
• Ability to convert scientific research into operational rigor and drive global advocacy.
• Strong experience harmonizing execution across varied school environments.
