Director of Education (Public Finance)

About the role

The Pakistan Institute of Public Finance Accountants (PIPFA) seeks a dynamic Director of Education to lead its academic programmes in public finance and accountancy. This senior position will shape curriculum, drive research, and ensure the institute remains a benchmark for public finance education in Pakistan.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and oversee the curriculum for all education programmes related to public finance, accounting standards and related fields.
• Provide academic leadership, mentoring faculty and guiding research initiatives.
• Coordinate with industry and government stakeholders to align programmes with national finance priorities.
• Lead strategic planning for the education division, including budgeting and resource allocation.
• Represent PIPFA in national and international forums on public finance education.

Required profile

• FCMA / FCA or equivalent, or PhD in Accounting, Business Administration, Economics or Law.
• At least 5 years of post‑qualification experience, or a Master’s degree with 8 years of relevant experience.
• Proven track record in academic leadership and curriculum development.
