About the role

The Head of IT Operations and Support at MCB is a senior leadership position responsible for strategic direction and governance of all IT operations across the bank, ensuring availability, resilience and optimal performance of mission‑critical technology services.

Key responsibilities

• Provide strategic leadership and governance for all IT operations, overseeing service desk, incident, problem and change management.
• Ensure continuous monitoring and management of data centres, networks and systems to deliver reliable, secure IT services.
• Develop and enforce technology governance frameworks and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Manage vendor relationships, contracts and procurement to optimise service delivery and cost efficiency.
• Drive business continuity and disaster recovery planning, regularly testing and updating plans.
• Manage IT budgets, resource allocation and operational expenditures aligned with business objectives.

Required profile

• Extensive experience in banking systems or financial services technology environments.
• Proven senior leadership experience managing large IT operations teams.
