Dispute Specialist

About the role

The Dispute Specialist will join the Finance Team in Lahore, handling distributor and market claims, agreement‑based payments, and recovery actions. This role ensures accurate processing, compliance with company policies, and timely resolution of financial disputes.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare, validate, and process distributor and market claims (promotions, discounts, adjustments) in line with approved mechanics and SOPs.
• Validate agreement‑based claims such as preferential fees and market support, securing required documentation and approvals.
• Calculate distributor premiums, reconcile incentive conditions with sales data, and manage accruals and settlements.
• Prepare customer‑wise balance‑sheet break‑downs, highlight outstanding items, and coordinate resolution with commercial leadership.
• Initiate recovery processes for risky or defaulting customers, liaise with legal teams, and support litigation documentation.
• Maintain complete documentation for distributors and customers, ensuring archiving and audit readiness.
• Execute monthly closing activities, including amortisation of advances and provisions for doubtful receivables.
• Track advance payments, flag under‑performing customers, and ensure all approvals are documented.

Required profile

• Professional accounting qualification (CMA, CPA, ACCA, ACA) or equivalent.
• Strong understanding of claim processing, incentive calculations, and financial reconciliation.
• Experience in handling commercial disputes, recovery, and coordination with legal functions.
• Attention to detail and ability to work under tight deadlines.
