Editorial Partnerships & Media Executive

About the role

Tech Revolt is the GCC's independent technology newsroom covering enterprise AI, cybersecurity, infrastructure, startups, fintech and the sectors reshaping the region. It holds media partnerships with GITEX Global, Global AI Show Riyadh and GITEX AI Europe and is building a regional editorial base. It is hiring an Editorial Partnerships & Media Executive to strengthen its editorial ecosystem through partnerships, newsletters and audience engagement, while also contributing original editorial content on startups, fintech and crypto. This is a hybrid role: you will write daily, own the newsletter and act as the operational bridge between the editorial team and media partners.

Key responsibilities

• Write 40% of the time: cover startups, fintech and crypto as a beat reporter and produce daily news and feature stories.
• Own the newsletter (20%): publish it on schedule with original framing and analysis.
• Support media partnerships (25%): manage partner deliverables end to end, including thought-leadership speaking opportunities.
• Support events, interviews and video partnerships (15%): coordinate with the wider team and support events on the ground in the region and internationally.
• KPIs: publish or refurbish at least two content pieces per day, publish two newsletters per month, and deliver all agreed media partner commitments on time.

Required profile

• 2 to 5 years of experience in tech journalism, business media, editorial or communications.
• Genuine interest in startups, fintech and crypto, with a working understanding of the regional and global landscape.
• Experience running or contributing to a newsletter, or the appetite to own one end to end.
• Comfort managing partner relationships and delivering against commitments.
• Nice to have: existing source network across GCC tech, fintech or startups; event coverage experience; video, audio or on-camera experience; Arabic proficiency.

Required skills

• Strong writing voice and clean copy, comfortable filing daily under deadline.
• Highly organised and self-directed, able to hold multiple workstreams.
