Draftsman – Quantity Control Drawings

About the role

We are looking for a skilled Draftsman who specializes in quantity control drawings to support our construction projects in Rawalpindi. The role demands high precision, strong attention to detail, and close collaboration with engineers, project managers, and the procurement team.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare detailed construction drawings with a focus on quantity control.
• Collaborate with engineers and project managers to gather requirements and clarify scope.
• Revise and update drawings based on feedback and changing specifications.
• Utilize CAD software to create and modify design layouts.
• Ensure drawings comply with company standards and local building regulations.
• Maintain organized records of drafts and revisions.
• Coordinate with procurement to align designs with material specifications.
• Assist in preparing quantity take‑offs and cost estimates.

Required profile

• Diploma or degree in Drafting, Engineering Technology, or a related field.
• 3–5 years of drafting experience, particularly with quantity control drawings.
• Strong understanding of construction processes, materials, and local building codes.
• Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
• Ability to work effectively in a team and manage multiple tasks.

Required skills

• Proficiency with CAD software (AutoCAD preferred).
• Ability to interpret engineering and architectural sketches.
