Drupal and Shopify Developer

About the role

Softvira is seeking an experienced Drupal & Shopify Developer to join its Karachi team on a night‑shift schedule. You will work on full‑stack web projects, creating and maintaining both content‑driven sites and e‑commerce stores.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, customize, and maintain Drupal websites, including custom modules, themes, integrations and APIs.
• Build and tailor Shopify stores using Liquid, themes, sections, templates and Shopify APIs.
• Perform performance, security, SEO and scalability optimizations for both platforms.
• Integrate third‑party services such as payment gateways, CRM, shipping providers and other APIs.
• Execute Drupal upgrades, migrations, security patches and ongoing maintenance.
• Ensure responsive, cross‑browser and mobile‑friendly user experiences.

Required profile

• 3–4+ years of professional web development experience.
• Strong problem‑solving, debugging and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently, meet deadlines and collaborate within a team.
• Willingness to learn new technologies and adapt to evolving project needs.

Required skills

• Drupal (versions 9/10/11) development.
• PHP, OOP, MySQL/MariaDB.
• HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript.
• Shopify development, Liquid templating, Shopify Storefront/Admin APIs, webhooks.
• REST/JSON APIs, AJAX, Git, Composer.
• SEO, performance optimization, Core Web Vitals, caching, security best practices.
• Responsive and mobile‑first design.
• WordPress & WooCommerce (plus), React/Vue (advantageous), Linux, CI/CD, Agile/Scrum (advantageous).
