Dynamics 365 CE Functional Consultant

About the role

A Microsoft Dynamics 365 partner specialising in ERP implementations, CRM modernisation, cloud migrations and Microsoft technologies is looking for a Dynamics 365 CE Functional Consultant in Islamabad. The consultant understands business requirements, optimises business processes and configures CRM solutions, focusing on functional consulting, solution design and the implementation of Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement applications. The position is full time and can be onsite, hybrid or remote.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct client workshops and gather, analyse and document business requirements.
• Perform fit-gap analysis and recommend suitable Dynamics 365 CE solutions.
• Configure Dynamics 365 Sales, Customer Service and other CE applications.
• Analyse and optimise CRM processes such as lead management, sales and customer service.
• Design workflows, approval processes and automation with Power Automate.
• Prepare functional specifications, process flows and solution design documents.
• Work with technical consultants on customisations, integrations and data migration.
• Manage functional testing, support UAT and resolve functional issues.
• Support deployment, go-live and post-implementation support, and deliver user training.

Required profile

• 3+ years of experience in D365 CE functional consulting, implementation or support.
• Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Finance, Computer Science or a related field, or equivalent professional experience.
• Experience in requirements gathering, fit-gap analysis and process mapping.
• Ability to translate business requirements into functional specifications.
• Excellent communication, analytical, problem-solving and client-facing skills.

Required skills

• Hands-on configuration of Dynamics 365 CE, especially Sales or Customer Service.
• Knowledge of Dataverse, Power Automate and the Power Platform.
• Functional testing, UAT, user training and implementation experience.
• Preferred: D365 Project Operations or Field Service, full-cycle implementation experience, Power BI, SharePoint and Microsoft 365, data migration, integrations and Dual-write, Copilot, and D365 or Power Platform certifications.
