Education Consultant – Customer Education

About the role

Motive is seeking an Education Consultant to lead customer education initiatives for its fleet‑management platform. You will design and deliver learning experiences that help customers unlock the full value of Motive’s safety, operations, and finance tools.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the end‑to‑end creation of customized training plans for individual accounts, starting with discovery calls to capture goals, challenges, personas, and success metrics.
• Design structured training plans that define learning objectives, content modules, delivery methods, and timelines, and obtain formal customer approval.
• Facilitate customer‑facing training across multiple formats, including virtual instructor‑led sessions (VILT) and other interactive delivery methods.
• Collaborate closely with internal cross‑functional teams, subject‑matter experts, and enablement groups to ensure training content is accurate, up‑to‑date, and aligned with product roadmaps.
• Continuously gather feedback, measure learning outcomes, and iterate on curriculum to drive measurable business results for customers.

Required profile

• Proven experience in customer education, training delivery, or instructional design within a SaaS or technology environment.
• Strong strategic planning abilities and a consultative mindset to act as a trusted advisor.
• Excellent communication and facilitation skills, with a focus on creating engaging, outcome‑driven learning experiences.
• Ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders, including product, sales, and support teams.
