Electrical/Electronics Engineer (R&D) – Energy Meter Testing

About the role

We are looking for a full‑time Electrical/Electronics Engineer (R&D) to join our digital meter manufacturing team at Accurate Pvt, Ltd. The role focuses on testing, evaluating and validating energy meters against WAPDA, IEC and ANSI standards, ensuring product reliability and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Perform detailed functional, environmental, accuracy, mechanical and electrical tests on energy meters according to WAPDA, IEC/ANSI and company specifications.
• Collaborate with design and development teams to identify issues, propose solutions and validate design changes from prototype to production.
• Document test results, analyse data and prepare technical reports, corrective action recommendations and validation summaries.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment such as reference meters, test benches, oscilloscopes, power analyzers and environmental chambers, ensuring proper calibration and safety.
• Work closely with firmware, hardware, quality and production teams to resolve technical issues and support field troubleshooting.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering.
• 1‑2 years of experience in electrical measurement, power systems or meter testing.
• Familiarity with WAPDA, IEC and ANSI metering standards.
• Hands‑on experience with laboratory instruments (multimeters, oscilloscopes, power sources, analyzers).

Required skills

• Electrical measurements and circuit analysis.
