Electronics Technician for Industrial IoT Projects

About the role

The Electronics Technician will work on assembling, testing, and maintaining electronic components used in Vision Technologies' Industrial IoT solutions. The position is task‑based and based in Lahore, supporting field deployment teams.

Key responsibilities

• Assemble and solder through‑hole and surface‑mount components for sensors, communication modules, and control boards.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair electronic circuits to ensure performance, safety, and quality standards.
• Perform preventive maintenance, component replacement, and routine inspections of deployed hardware.
• Document test results, maintenance activities, and any hardware upgrades.

Required profile

• Diploma in Electronics, Electrical Technology, or equivalent practical experience.
• Strong knowledge of electronic components, ICs, and fundamentals.
• Ability to read and interpret schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation.
• Capacity to work independently and within a cross‑functional engineering team.

Required skills

• Hands‑on soldering (through‑hole and surface‑mount) with attention to detail.
• Systematic troubleshooting of electronic circuits and devices.
• Use of test equipment such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, power supplies, and signal generators.
• Basic understanding of IoT hardware (sensors, communication modules, controllers) is an advantage.
