Embedded Application Developer (C/C++)

About the role

A development team is looking for an Embedded Application Developer to join on a six-month contractual basis. The selected candidate will develop embedded, industrial and hardware-integrated applications.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain robust C/C++ software for embedded, industrial and hardware-integrated systems.
• Design efficient software using OOP, memory management, multithreading and software design best practices.
• Build applications for Windows, Windows CE/IoT, Android and Linux platforms.
• Create interactive graphical applications with Qt, MFC and OpenGL-based 3D visualization.
• Integrate hardware components and peripherals via CAN, UART and other protocols.
• Implement GNSS/GPS and IMU sensor integration, with RTK positioning and NTRIP support where applicable.
• Develop HTTP-based APIs for communication with external devices and systems.
• Debug at the hardware level using logic analyzers, oscilloscopes and software debuggers.
• Ensure reliability through unit, integration and system-level testing.

Required profile

• 4-5 years of experience in C/C++ software development for embedded, industrial or hardware-integrated applications.
• Experience with Windows-based applications, preferably Windows CE, Windows IoT or other embedded/industrial Windows, Android and Linux platforms.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a proactive approach to troubleshooting and optimization.

Required skills

• C/C++, object-oriented programming, memory management, multithreading and debugging.
• Qt framework and Microsoft Foundation Classes (MFC) highly desirable.
• OpenGL 3D graphics programming, including rendering and geometric calculations.
• CAN and UART protocols, and hardware debugging tools such as logic analyzers and oscilloscopes.
• Familiarity with GNSS/GPS, IMU sensors, RTK positioning and NTRIP; HTTP APIs and testing frameworks.
