About the role

Vettedlance hires practising engineers to turn real operational work into AI training tasks and to grade model answers in their field. This is a remote, part-time independent contractor position, open to engineers in grid operations, energy systems, mechanical engineering or data engineering.

Key responsibilities

Write realistic tasks from grid operations, energy systems, mechanical design or data pipelines.
Grade AI answers and workflows for technical correctness.
Explain where and why a model's approach would fail in practice.

Required profile

5+ years as a practising engineer in grid operations or energy systems, mechanical engineering, or data engineering / product data science.
Fluent written English.

What we offer

Remote work, part-time and flexible: 10 to 40 hours per week.
Hourly rate of $70 to $100 USD, paid weekly; the rate is set after a short paid assessment.
