Engineering Manager

About the role

We are looking for an Engineering Manager to lead a remote team of 8‑12 software engineers. You will combine strong people leadership with Agile expertise to ensure predictable, high‑quality delivery while shaping technical direction.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and mentor engineers, conduct regular 1:1s, and foster an inclusive, learning‑focused culture.
• Lead Agile ceremonies, coach the team on Scrum practices, and improve delivery predictability.
• Identify and resolve blockers, manage cross‑team dependencies, and keep engineering momentum.
• Oversee sprint planning, estimation, prioritization, and capacity management to meet business objectives.
• Participate in code and architecture discussions, champion best practices, and uphold quality, security, and reliability standards.

Required profile

• Proven experience coaching and developing engineers and building high‑performing, inclusive teams.
• 5+ years in software engineering, including 2+ years as a senior or principal engineer.
• 3+ years managing or leading remote technical teams, with ability to engage in technical discussions.
• Strong background in Agile (Scrum) and continuous improvement.
• Excellent communication skills for cross‑functional alignment and stakeholder management.
