Engineering Team Lead - Technical Operations

About the role

Medi Bridge is looking for an Engineering Team Lead for Technical Operations in Lahore. The role manages a team of five technical staff and covers interpreting technical drawings, operating and maintaining equipment, and overseeing installation and commissioning of systems. It suits engineers and DAE technical staff with at least two years of experience who can work collaboratively and communicate well with team members and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Interpret and analyze technical drawings and blueprints to guide project execution accurately.
• Operate, maintain and oversee technical equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
• Lead and supervise a team of five technical staff, providing training, support and performance management.
• Plan, coordinate and execute installation and commissioning of equipment according to technical specifications and regulatory standards.
• Monitor project progress and ensure compliance with quality control and safety requirements.
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during installation and operation promptly.
• Collaborate with project managers and other departments to align technical activities with organizational goals.
• Document installation processes, technical issues and maintenance activities for reporting.
• Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance to minimize equipment downtime.
• Ensure adherence to environmental, health and safety regulations throughout operations.

Required profile

• Diploma of Associate Engineer (DAE) or equivalent engineering background.
• At least two years of experience.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to coordinate multiple tasks and manage resources.
• Ability to maintain safety standards and troubleshoot technical issues promptly.
