Senior Site Supervisor - Housing Projects (Gray Structure & Finishing)

About the role

This position is for a Senior Site Supervisor responsible for overseeing and managing the entire construction site of housing projects, covering both the gray structure and finishing phases. The role works closely with project managers, engineers and architects to deliver projects on time and to standard.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee and manage the construction site, focusing on gray structure and finishing phases of housing projects.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers and architects so that plans are executed accurately and on schedule.
• Monitor daily operations and ensure compliance with construction safety regulations.
• Direct and supervise construction workers, subcontractors and other personnel on site.
• Inspect work to ensure adherence to plans, specifications and standards.
• Manage material resources efficiently, ensuring timely procurement and minimizing wastage.
• Resolve on-site issues and conflicts promptly.
• Prepare and submit detailed progress reports to the project manager.
• Ensure milestones and deadlines are met and implement quality control procedures.

Required profile

• Minimum of 6-10 years of experience in site supervision, specifically in housing projects (gray structure and finishing).
• Proven track record of managing and leading multiple construction teams at once.
• Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management or a related field preferred; professional certification in construction site management is an advantage.

Required skills

• In-depth knowledge of construction procedures, equipment and safety guidelines.
• Strong understanding of building codes, regulations and quality standards.
• Ability to read and interpret technical documents and blueprints.
• Proficiency in construction management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent organizational, leadership, problem-solving and communication skills.
