English Coordinator

About the role

Profyd, an education support company based in Pakistan that delivers online English lessons to international students, is hiring an English coordinator in Lahore. The coordinator leads, monitors and improves the quality of English instruction, oversees teacher performance, curriculum alignment and student outcomes, and suits professionals moving into a leadership role in education.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate and supervise the English teaching team across online and onsite classes
• Monitor and evaluate teacher performance, giving feedback and training support
• Design and standardize lesson plans, assessments and learning materials aligned with international curricula (UK, USA, Canada, Ireland, Australia, New Zealand)
• Carry out regular class observations and quality assurance checks
• Manage student progress reports and track academic outcomes in English
• Onboard and mentor new English teachers
• Align department goals with company objectives and handle escalations and student or teacher concerns

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in English, Education, Linguistics or a related field
• Prior experience in teaching English, academic coordination or department management
• Excellent spoken and written English
• Leadership, communication and organizational skills
• Ability to design curriculum and assessment frameworks
• Familiarity with online teaching platforms and digital tools is an advantage; experience with UK, USA or international curricula is highly preferred
