English Language Instructor

About the role

The English Language Instructor delivers high‑quality, learner‑centered instruction using the Berlitz Method. Reporting to the Local Manager of Instruction, the role focuses on creating a motivating classroom environment and ensuring each customer’s language goals are met.

Key responsibilities

• Plan and deliver beginner to advanced English lessons for individuals, groups, and large classes both on‑site and at client locations.
• Apply the Berlitz Learning Cycle and integrate available learning technology into lessons.
• Provide timely feedback on student progress, complete administrative tasks such as progress cards and reports, and communicate any issues to the supervisor.
• Maintain teaching schedules, conduct level checks, counseling sessions, and make program recommendations.
• Participate in professional development workshops and represent the language centre in customer‑facing activities.
• Support centre events, placements, and material development as needed.
