English Teacher

About the role

We are seeking a dedicated English Teacher to join our school on a full‑time, on‑site basis. The successful candidate will deliver engaging lessons in literature, reading comprehension, grammar and writing, while fostering a supportive learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that adhere to curriculum guidelines.
• Provide instruction in English literature, reading comprehension, grammar, and writing skills.
• Foster a positive learning environment to motivate students and enhance their understanding of the subject.
• Assess students' progress through assignments, tests, and examinations.
• Offer feedback and assistance to students to improve their academic performance.
• Communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues regarding student progress and any issues.
• Participate in school meetings, professional development, and parent‑teacher conferences.
• Maintain accurate records of student attendance, grades, and disciplinary issues.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of proven experience as an English teacher (preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree in English, Education, or a related field.
• Teaching certification or license.
• Master’s degree in Education or English is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of English language and literature.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to adapt teaching methods to meet different learning styles and needs.
• Strong organizational and classroom management abilities.
• Passion for teaching and fostering positive educational environments.
