Entry-Level Inventory Management Officer

About the role

We are seeking an entry-level Inventory Management Officer to support our inventory control processes across warehouses and retail stores. The role is ideal for candidates with strong Excel skills and basic exposure to ERP systems who are eager to develop a career in supply chain management.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor inventory levels and maintain accurate stock records.
• Track stock movements across warehouses and retail locations.
• Update and reconcile inventory data promptly.
• Review stock reports to identify shortages, discrepancies, or excess inventory.
• Maintain SKU-level records ensuring data accuracy.
• Support periodic stock counts and inventory audits.
• Prepare inventory reports and dashboards for management review.
• Generate and analyze inventory reports using Microsoft Excel.
• Maintain accurate records within ERP systems and highlight inventory-related issues.
• Coordinate with warehouse, procurement, and retail teams to ensure smooth operations.
• Follow established SOPs and assist in process-improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Commerce or a related field.
• 0–2 years of experience in inventory management, warehouse operations or a similar role.
• Strong analytical and numerical abilities with high attention to detail.
• Effective communication and coordination skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.

Required skills

• Microsoft Excel (formulas, lookups, pivot tables, reporting).
• Basic hands-on exposure to ERP systems as an end-user.
