About the role
The Estimation Engineer will work on‑site in Lahore, preparing detailed cost estimates, BOQs and proposals for medium‑ and low‑voltage switchgear projects. You will collaborate with design, sales and procurement teams to ensure accurate and competitive bids.
Key responsibilities
- Review drawings and technical specifications to perform quantity take‑offs.
- Prepare Bill of Quantities (BOQ) and cost estimates for electrical switchgear projects.
- Coordinate with design and sales teams during bid preparation.
- Conduct market research to validate material and labour costs.
- Support technical and commercial discussions and assist in client and supplier negotiations.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Industrial Engineering or a related field.
- Prior experience in estimation, tendering or proposal preparation within switchgear, power distribution or construction.
- Strong analytical ability and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and teamwork skills.
- Commitment to safety, quality and ethical business practices.
Required skills
- Proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
- Experience with estimation or ERP software tools.
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and specifications.
