Executive Assistant to Medical Director – Outpatient Behavioural Health

About the role

The Executive Assistant will provide high‑level administrative and clinical support to the Medical Director of an outpatient behavioural health practice. This position bridges medical administration and patient care, ensuring smooth operations and compliance with U.S. healthcare regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the Medical Director’s schedule, meetings, and travel arrangements.
• Prepare reports, treatment documentation, and other clinical paperwork.
• Coordinate daily activities with therapists, clinicians, and support staff.
• Ensure compliance with HIPAA and relevant state regulations.
• Act as a trusted liaison for patients, families, and external partners.

Required profile

• MBBS degree (medical graduate).
• 2–4 years of experience in healthcare or behavioural health settings.
• Proficiency with Electronic Health Record (EHR) systems and Microsoft Office suite.
• Strong commitment to confidentiality, patient care, and regulatory compliance.
