Executive Chef

About the role

We are looking for an Executive Chef to lead the culinary operations at Mövenpick Hotel Centaurus Islamabad. The successful candidate will shape a vibrant kitchen culture that blends Pakistan’s rich culinary heritage with international standards, delivering exceptional dining experiences across our restaurants, banquets and events.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and maintain a strong culinary culture that promotes creativity, teamwork and continuous improvement.
• Ensure consistent food quality, presentation and compliance with international culinary standards.
• Lead, coach and mentor a multicultural culinary team through training and development programmes.
• Design innovative menus while controlling food cost, managing hygiene standards and ensuring HACCP compliance.
• Collaborate with Food & Beverage leadership to create distinctive culinary events and enhance guest satisfaction.
• Analyse kitchen performance metrics, prepare budgets and make data‑driven decisions to optimise profitability.
• Oversee food safety, sanitation and hygiene protocols in line with local health regulations.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of culinary experience, including previous Executive Chef role in a luxury hotel or large‑scale hospitality operation.
• Proven ability to lead and develop multicultural culinary teams.
• Strong leadership with a passion for coaching and talent development.
• Deep knowledge of international cuisine, food safety standards and cost management.
• Creative mindset and commitment to continuous improvement and guest satisfaction.
