Executive RAN Control – Radio Network Optimization

About the role

The Executive RAN Control will lead radio network optimization activities from the headquarters in Islamabad. This position ensures optimal end‑user experience by monitoring performance, managing contracts, and driving strategic initiatives across 2G, 3G and 4G networks.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor OSS KPIs and coordinate optimization actions with regional teams.
• Assign and track optimization targets for regional and vendor groups.
• Develop inter‑technology operability strategies to improve user experience.
• Negotiate and finalize SLA scopes with vendors for optimization contracts.
• Design and execute spectrum re‑farming strategies.
• Conduct inter‑operator drive‑test benchmarks to assess network competitiveness.
• Lead parametric and feature trials to enhance network quality.
• Prepare regional strategies to achieve high rankings in PTA QoS surveys.
• Collaborate with customer‑complaint teams to improve network‑related satisfaction.
• Manage special projects, ensuring timely delivery and tracking.
• Perform consistency audits on critical parameters and rectify discrepancies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical/Telecom Engineering or a related field.
• 2‑4 years of relevant experience in radio network optimization.

Required skills

• In‑depth knowledge of RAN optimization for 2G, 3G and 4G technologies.
• High‑level understanding of future network evolution and emerging technologies.
• Experience with OSS KPI monitoring and analysis.
• Technical report writing and presentation abilities.
