Expert Product Planning (Grade L2)

About the role

JazzCash, a mobile financial services platform in Pakistan, is hiring an Expert Product Planning professional (Grade L2) in Islamabad. The role drives disciplined product planning, sprint planning and timely delivery of product initiatives, supporting the full product lifecycle from opportunity assessment and requirements definition through design, development, testing, launch, operational enablement and post-launch tracking.

Key responsibilities

• Translate stakeholder needs into clear requirements and solutions, resolve project impediments and prioritize the backlog to maximize business value within IT capacity.
• Champion Agile methodologies and tools to speed up delivery and make teams more adaptable.
• Build project plans with clear milestones and timelines for on-time, successful product launches.
• Prepare accurate budgets and forecasts, and proactively identify and mitigate project risks.
• Lead cross-functional teams, manage the project pipeline and optimize team bandwidth while protecting system stability and customer satisfaction.
• Align internal and external stakeholders, give regular data-driven progress updates and manage the full product lifecycle through post-launch tracking.

Required profile

• Master's or Bachelor's degree, preferably in Engineering or Computer Science.
• At least 4-5 years of project management experience, with an understanding of the SDLC in a financial landscape (highly advantageous).
• Ability to manage the end-to-end product lifecycle, including project plans, budgets, risks and team performance.
• Strong communication and negotiation skills with internal and external stakeholders, and ability to analyze requirements, determine solutions and prioritize demand.
