About the role

UIT University (UITU) in Karachi is expanding its academic staff and invites applications for Professors, Associate Professors, Assistant Professors and Lecturers across multiple disciplines. The positions are full‑time, campus‑based roles focused on teaching, research and scholarly publication.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver undergraduate and graduate courses in the assigned discipline.
• Conduct research, publish findings in reputable journals and conferences.
• Provide academic service such as curriculum development and departmental meetings.
• Mentor and counsel students, supervise projects and theses.
• Collaborate with colleagues on interdisciplinary initiatives.

Required profile

• Must satisfy the Higher Education Commission (HEC) eligibility criteria for the respective rank.
• Relevant academic degree (Master’s/PhD) in Computer Systems Engineering, Computer Science, Software Engineering, Management Sciences, Social Sciences or Engineering Technology.
• Demonstrated commitment to teaching excellence and research productivity.
