Fashion Design Intern – Technical Sketching & Trend Analysis

About the role

SUMMAT is seeking a motivated Fashion Design Intern to support the creative team in Lahore. The role offers hands‑on experience in technical sketching, trend analysis and the development of seasonal collections, ideal for students or recent graduates in fashion design.

Key responsibilities

• Create mood boards, inspiration boards and seasonal concepts.
• Develop flat sketches and technical drawings using Adobe Illustrator.
• Assist in preparing tech packs and garment specifications.
• Conduct research on fashion trends, colors, fabrics and market opportunities.
• Support print and graphic development for collections.
• Source fabrics, trims and accessories as required.
• Organise samples, maintain the sample library and participate in sample reviews and fittings.
• Prepare presentations and collection documentation for internal and external use.
• Provide day‑to‑day creative and administrative support to the design team.

Required profile

• Currently pursuing or recently completed a Bachelor’s degree in Fashion Design or a related field.
• Strong communication, organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast‑paced environment.
• Eagerness to learn emerging fashion techniques, trends and software tools.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator for creating technical flats and sketches.
