Field Engineer / Specialist – Cementing

About the role

The Well Construction Fluids Engineer/Specialist ensures safe, efficient, reliable and compliant cementing services for the company and its customers. Working directly at wellsites, the role combines technical program execution, risk management and customer interaction.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain safe, efficient and compliant cementing service delivery.
• Identify improvement opportunities, implement standard work and manage risk during operations.
• Execute service delivery according to technical programs, bids and contract terms.
• Interact with customer representatives on‑site to promote company products and services.
• Apply the Compliance Assessment Tool (CAT), conduct self‑assessments and wellsite inspections to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Participate in job risk analysis, continuous improvement programs and HSE/SQ initiatives.
• Ensure equipment readiness and personnel compliance in the field.
• Lead field operations, troubleshoot issues and support investigations.
• Assist in designing technical programs and bids with profitability under supervision.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 3 years’ experience in a similar well‑construction or cementing role.

Required skills

• Proficiency with the Compliance Assessment Tool (CAT).
