Field Projects & Maintenance Engineer (Gujranwala)

About the role

The Field Projects & Maintenance Engineer is responsible for delivering operational maintenance across the region, with a strong focus on Health, Safety, Security and Environment (HSSE) compliance. The role involves validating HSSE delivery, managing supplier performance and ensuring uninterrupted service at fuel station sites.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the focal point for all HSSE requirements and issue/record Permit to Work (PTW) systems.
• Conduct asset condition surveys of service stations and prepare costed BOQs for CMEP activities.
• Validate invoices and assess equipment repair or replacement needs, recommending cost‑effective solutions.
• Perform quality checks on completed maintenance and ensure asset data is regularly updated.
• Respond to emergency call‑outs and “make‑safe” situations.
• Liaise with Project Management Contractor (PMC) and Regional Operations Manager (ROM) to minimise disruption and keep equipment data current in Maximo/FMP.
• Develop the supplier base, hold operational meetings and collaborate with the Centre of Excellence for knowledge sharing.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Civil or Electrical Engineering.
• 2‑3 years of facilities maintenance experience, preferably in fuel stations or the petroleum sector.
• Strong HSSE management background.
• Excellent verbal and written communication in English and the local language.
• Good planning, organisational and interpersonal skills.
