Field Service Engineer

About the role

You will provide technical leadership on large installations and projects, applying strong electronic problem‑solving skills and deep product knowledge. The role requires clear communication, ownership of technical challenges, and the ability to involve the right experts to deliver results.

Key responsibilities

• Lead junior colleagues and act as a product champion for Explosive Trace Detection, X‑ray, CT or AMD systems.
• Plan, execute, and commission technical installations while ensuring customer satisfaction.
• Contribute to design, quality assurance, manufacturing, operation and maintenance of security equipment.
• Assess equipment performance, recommend improvements, and work with third parties to resolve issues.
• Document processes, create troubleshooting aids, and keep all stakeholders informed.
• Collaborate with customers, R&D, sales, and management across multiple departments.
• Travel to customer sites and be available outside normal business hours when required.

Required profile

• Associate degree or equivalent experience with a strong drive for results.
• Proven experience in troubleshooting, field repair, or technical support of electrical and mechanical systems.
• Aptitude to learn specialized software tools.
