Finance Manager

About the role

The Finance Manager will lead the month‑end closing process, prepare management reports and support senior decision‑making. This role requires strong technical accounting knowledge and the ability to work in a fast‑paced, multi‑dimensional environment.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure monthly closing is completed on time as directed by the Group team.
• Prepare monthly management reports, explaining variances against budget and prior periods.
• Handle accounting closing for month, quarter and year.
• Act as the focal point for auditors, ensuring timely audit completion with minimal adjustments.
• Review and monitor internal control environment, addressing weaknesses promptly.
• Prepare ad‑hoc reports for senior management and recommend cost‑optimization opportunities.

Required profile

• CA/ACCA qualified with at least 5 years post‑qualification experience.
• Experience implementing ERP systems and integrating them with other applications.
• Proven ability to lead finance teams and work closely with banks.
• Comfortable working in a fast‑paced, multi‑departmental environment.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in MS Excel.
• Hands‑on experience with Oracle Netsuite (preferred).
• Knowledge of IFRS 16 and experience implementing the standard.
• Understanding of tax and corporate law requirements.
