Finance Manager – Remote, $100k/year

About the role

As a Finance Manager you will lead Trilogy’s global finance operations while staying hands‑on with core accounting work. The role combines team leadership with direct oversight of invoices, payments, reconciliations and other financial deliverables, ensuring accuracy and continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Direct a team of Senior Accountants, reprioritising tasks based on deadlines, business impact and financial exposure.
• Review finance dashboards and completed deliverables to confirm that invoices, payments, bank transactions, reconciliations, control accounts, revenue and expense allocations are accurate and up‑to‑date.
• Diagnose the root cause of errors—whether data, system configuration, accounting treatment or process execution—and document corrective actions.
• Produce evidence‑based coaching documentation that clarifies mistakes, outlines remediation steps and establishes preventive measures.
• Identify and champion opportunities to apply AI, large language models and automation to eliminate manual effort and boost speed and precision.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing finance or accounting teams in a global or multi‑entity environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to assess financial data quality and pinpoint procedural breakdowns.
• Comfortable stepping in to execute transactions when urgent deadlines arise.
• Commitment to building a high‑performing team rather than spending time on routine status meetings.
