Finance Manager (Remote)

About the role

Advanced Asset Management is looking for a hands‑on Finance Manager to own the day‑to‑day financial operations of our growing asset‑management business. You will work directly with accounting data, ensure accurate reporting, and maintain strict financial controls while supporting a fully remote team.

Key responsibilities

• Lead monthly, quarterly and year‑end close processes in accordance with US GAAP.
• Manage daily cash positioning, accounts payable, accounts receivable and general ledger activities.
• Prepare detailed financial statements and regulatory filings for the financial services sector.
• Coordinate documentation for internal and external auditors, tax consultants and regulatory bodies.
• Standardize and improve financial processes and system workflows across the firm’s portfolio.
• Supervise junior accounting staff, reviewing journal entries, bank reconciliations and payroll processing.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Active CPA or CMA certification is highly advantageous.
• 2+ years of progressive corporate finance experience, preferably in asset management, wealth management or private equity.
• Proven ability to handle high transaction volumes, meet strict closing deadlines and multitask in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Hands‑on proficiency with ERP software such as Quickbooks, Entrata and Yadi.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (VLOOKUP, Pivot Tables, Power Query).
