Finance Manager – Retail Supermarket Operations

About the role

Earth Supermarket is seeking a Finance Manager to lead financial and administrative functions within its dynamic retail supermarket environment in Rawalpindi. The role combines strategic financial planning, rigorous reporting, and team leadership to support the company’s growth and regulatory compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare accurate monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements in line with regulatory standards.
• Lead budgeting, forecasting and financial planning activities aligned with business objectives.
• Manage day‑to‑day accounts payable, accounts receivable and payroll processes.
• Ensure compliance with tax laws, statutory regulations and financial reporting standards.
• Monitor inventory valuation and implement robust retail financial controls.
• Supervise administrative operations and maintain effective internal controls.
• Lead, mentor and develop a team of five finance and administration professionals.
• Oversee vendor management, including contract review and performance monitoring.
• Utilise ERP systems (SAP or Oracle Financials) for transaction processing and reporting.

Required profile

• ACCA qualification (member or finalist).
• Minimum five years of finance experience in a retail supermarket setting.
• Proven leadership and communication abilities.
• Strong understanding of financial reporting, budgeting, taxation and cash‑flow management.

Required skills

• Proficiency with SAP or Oracle Financials ERP systems.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
