Finance Officer - Receivables and Client Invoicing

About the role

The Finance Officer ensures that financial transactions are recorded timely and accurately, that processes are followed and that financial information reaches key stakeholders in time for sound decisions. An important part of the role is building good working relationships with non-financial colleagues across H-Tech Supports so that the finance team gets the information it needs quickly. The successful candidate will also look for opportunities to improve processes and automate them.

Key responsibilities

• Keep accurate records of daily transactions, process invoices and record accounts payable and receivable
• Update internal systems with financial data and reconcile bank statements
• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial reports, monthly consolidated group accounts and management reports
• Track bank deposits and payments, assist with budget preparation and manage budgets and forecasts
• Develop and implement financial controls, policies and procedures, and join the annual budgeting process
• Participate in financial audits, liaise with internal and external auditors, and review income tax returns and statutory reports
• Maintain relationships with banks, investors and regulatory bodies, and handle ad-hoc tasks assigned by the superior

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in Accounting or a related discipline
• At least 2 years of experience in finance or accounting; audit firm experience is a plus
• Good English and Urdu
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment

Required skills

• Knowledge of Microsoft Excel (must)
• Knowledge of ERP systems (must)
