Finance Operations Associate (MTO Finance)

About the role

The MTO Finance position supports core finance operations at a corporate office in Islamabad. You will gain hands‑on experience with transaction processing, reconciliations, reporting, tax compliance, and audit preparation while working closely with the Senior Executive Finance.

Key responsibilities

• Execute daily transactional postings in SAP Business One under supervision.
• Maintain organized, compliant documentation for all processed transactions.
• Prepare schedules and vouchers to assist with monthly and annual closing.
• Perform vendor, customer, and general‑ledger reconciliations and flag discrepancies.
• Compile financial data for management reports and ad‑hoc decision‑making reports.
• Prepare initial data for sales tax and withholding tax submissions.
• Monitor vendor tax compliance and highlight gaps.
• Draft payment, transfer, and deposit instructions for review.
• Support invoice processing, payment follow‑ups, and petty‑cash handling.
• Organise documents and schedules for interim and annual audits.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field (CA Inter, ICMA, ACCA finalist preferred).
• 0‑6 months of experience in finance or accounting.
• Strong understanding of accounting principles and financial controls.
• Attention to detail and accuracy.
• Prior exposure to telecom, technology or service‑based industries is a plus.
