Financial Planning and Analysis Specialist

About the role

We are looking for a highly skilled Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) Specialist to join our Karachi office on a permanent night‑shift schedule aligned with US CST business hours. The role combines deep M&A expertise with advanced data‑visualisation and analytics to support strategic decision‑making.

Key responsibilities

• Lead full‑cycle financial planning, forecasting and budgeting aligned with long‑term strategic goals.
• Conduct financial due diligence, valuation, scenario modelling and post‑merger integration analysis for prospective M&A deals.
• Build, maintain and audit complex dynamic financial models to assess synergies and performance.
• Design and manage interactive dashboards and BI tools (Power BI, Tableau) to visualise KPIs.
• Extract and analyse large data sets from internal systems to identify margin trends and profitability drivers.
• Prepare executive‑level presentations, investment memos and board reports.
• Perform internal compliance checks and budget‑to‑actual variance audits, flagging risks and optimisation opportunities.
• Partner with business unit leaders to define metrics and develop customised analytics infrastructure.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Data Analytics or a recognised professional qualification (CFA, ACCA, CMA).
• 2–5 years of experience in FP&A, investment banking, corporate development or transaction advisory.
• Hands‑on experience with M&A transaction mechanics, valuation methods and corporate finance theory.
• Excellent written and spoken English for drafting memos and collaborating with senior stakeholders.
