Finishing Site Supervisor – Construction

About the role

The Finishing Site Supervisor is responsible for overseeing all finishing activities on construction sites, ensuring that work meets quality standards, safety regulations, and project specifications. You will coordinate with project managers, subcontractors, and suppliers to keep the workflow efficient and on schedule.

Key responsibilities

• Manage and supervise all on‑site finishing work, guaranteeing compliance with quality and safety standards.
• Coordinate material deliveries and subcontractor schedules to ensure timely completion.
• Conduct regular site inspections, identify issues, and implement corrective actions.
• Maintain daily logs, progress reports, and documentation of any incidents or resolutions.
• Allocate resources effectively to optimise productivity.
• Lead team meetings to discuss status, upcoming tasks, and potential challenges.
• Provide guidance and support to the finishing crew, clarifying roles and responsibilities.

Required profile

• 6‑10 years of experience as a Finishing Site Supervisor or similar role.
• Strong knowledge of construction finishing techniques, materials and specifications.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and project specifications.
• Excellent leadership, problem‑solving and communication skills.
• Attention to detail with a commitment to quality and safety.

Required skills

• Proficiency with MS Office Suite.
• Experience using construction management software.
