Founding Growth Engineer (GTM)

About the role

Disrupt.com is seeking a Founding Growth Engineer to lead the go‑to‑market strategy for a stealth AI‑native portfolio company at MVP stage. You will be the first growth hire, responsible for turning a working product into paying customers and building scalable acquisition systems.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement a growth model from scratch, aligning daily channel inputs with MRR targets.
• Identify product‑market‑channel fit through rapid experimentation and close the first 10 customers within 90 days.
• Own the full AAARRR funnel and build repeatable acquisition channels (paid, outbound, PLG, partnerships, content, SEO).
• Assemble and lead a cross‑functional GTM pod, establishing sprint cadence and 72‑hour experiment cycles.
• Create AI‑native workflows for outbound outreach, landing pages, analytics, CRM automation, experimentation and reporting.
• Monitor conversion bottlenecks, ROMI, CAC payback and early unit economics; kill under‑performing channels quickly.
• Produce product growth specifications and influence the product roadmap with data‑driven GTM insights.

Required profile

• Proven ability to build a venture from $0 to meaningful revenue.
• Experience closing early customers personally.
• Deep expertise in at least two growth channels and strong funnel thinking.
• AI‑native operator comfortable with Claude, Cursor, Replit, GPTs and custom agents.
• Technical fluency in SQL, Python, no‑code platforms, landing‑page creation, analytics and CRM tooling.
• Track record of leading cross‑functional pods or teams.
