FP&A Analyst

About the role

This role provides finance support to the finance teams on productivity, demand planning, reporting and metrics, and acts as a subject matter expert on financial data. It also involves corporate projects, reconciliations, presentations and acting as a liaison for the investor relations team.

Key responsibilities

• Provide FP&A finance support on productivity, demand planning, reporting and metrics
• Identify business challenges and propose and create solutions
• Collect and verify data from appropriate, up-to-date sources
• Partner with the finance team and central FP&A groups on metrics, goals and business reviews
• Analyse financial statements (income statement, balance sheet, cash flow) and basic ratio analysis
• Work on corporate projects and initiatives affecting the whole organisation
• Reconcile financials using a structured approach and complete the Data Collection Template
• Create presentations with insight, action items and clear decision framing
• Research variances in forecasts, budgets and prior-year expenses and identify improvement opportunities
• Build relationships with business partners and cross-functional teams
• Liaise with investor relations on earnings guidance scenario modelling, including executive presentations, Q&A support and ad hoc analysis

Required profile

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Finance, or CA/ACCA background
• Minimum 3 years of relevant experience

Required skills

• Good Excel skills, maintaining complex models and monitoring multiple databases
• Data analytical tools for reporting, comparisons and variance analysis
• Preferred: SAP experience for verifying and reconciling data
• Preferred: PowerPoint, budget exercises and accounting practice knowledge
