Full Stack AI Developer

About the role

A client, an enterprise AI company based in Dubai, UAE, is looking for a hands-on Full Stack AI Developer to join its engineering team. The developer builds production-grade AI-powered features across the product suite, from backend model integrations and APIs to clean front-end interfaces. The ideal candidate has 2-3 years of experience building applications that use AI/ML models, LLMs or agentic workflows.

Key responsibilities

• Integrate LLMs (OpenAI, Azure OpenAI, Anthropic, open-source) into production apps via APIs and SDKs
• Build and maintain agentic workflows, multi-step reasoning pipelines and tool-calling patterns
• Connect AI models to data sources, vector databases and retrieval pipelines (RAG and GRAG)
• Implement prompt engineering, chaining and context management
• Design RESTful and event-driven APIs with Python (FastAPI/Django) or Node.js
• Work with PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis and Elasticsearch, and build data ingestion pipelines
• Deploy containerized services on cloud infrastructure (Azure preferred)
• Develop responsive UI components with React.js or Vue.js and display real-time AI outputs
• Work with product on UX flows for AI-assisted dashboards, chat UIs and agent interfaces
• Write clean, documented, testable code, take part in code reviews, support QA/UAT and identify performance bottlenecks

Required profile

• 2-3 years of hands-on experience with LLMs, LangChain or similar frameworks
• Familiarity with RAG, vector stores (Pinecone, Weaviate, pgvector) and embeddings
• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering or equivalent practical experience
• Good written and verbal English; strong problem-solving skills

Required skills

• Python (FastAPI or Django) and/or Node.js, SQL and NoSQL databases
• Docker and cloud deployment (Azure, AWS or GCP); message queues such as Kafka or RabbitMQ a plus
• React.js or Vue.js, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript
• Data visualisation interfaces, Git and CI/CD workflows

Nice to have

• Azure AI Foundry, Azure AI Search or Azure Bot Framework
• Computer vision APIs or voice AI (STT/TTS, telephony APIs)
• Social media data ingestion, sentiment analysis or NLP pipelines
• Open-source AI/ML contributions and familiarity with GCC enterprise or government IT constraints
