Full Stack Lead (WordPress, PHP, Shopify, Magento)

About the role

COLAB Marketing Inc. seeks an experienced Development Lead to head its web development function, overseeing the creation, maintenance, and optimisation of websites and e‑commerce platforms. The role combines hands‑on coding with team leadership in a fully remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage a development team, planning, prioritising and distributing tasks to ensure on‑time delivery.
• Develop, customise and maintain web applications using PHP, WordPress, Shopify and Magento.
• Write clean, scalable, well‑documented code and enforce coding standards.
• Troubleshoot performance, security and functionality issues across all platforms.
• Collaborate with designers, SEO specialists, project managers and other stakeholders to meet client requirements.
• Provide technical estimates, monitor progress and mitigate risks.
• Manage migrations, API integrations and third‑party tool connections.
• Mentor junior and mid‑level developers.

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional full‑stack/web development experience.
• Strong hands‑on expertise with PHP, WordPress, Shopify and Magento.
• Proven experience leading or mentoring development teams.
• Excellent problem‑solving, communication and collaboration skills.
• Ability to work independently in a fully remote setting.
