General Manager – Café Operations & Growth

About the role

We are seeking a high‑performance General Manager to own every aspect of our café’s operations, team, customer experience, profitability, and growth. This is not a scheduling‑only role; you will act as an owner‑mindset operator who drives revenue, controls costs, and continuously raises standards.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily café operations, coordinating kitchen, service, barista, cash, housekeeping, and security teams.
• Maintain top‑tier standards for cleanliness, food quality, presentation, speed, and customer care.
• Develop and enforce procedures for opening, closing, cash handling, inventory, hygiene, and service.
• Identify operational weaknesses and implement lasting solutions.
• Achieve and exceed revenue targets through upselling, menu engineering, bundles, and premium experiences.
• Track sales performance, address low‑performing items or shifts, and work with owners on promotions and campaigns.
• Build local partnerships with businesses, offices, universities, influencers, and event planners.
• Deliver a premium, memorable customer experience, resolve complaints instantly, and boost reviews and repeat visits.
• Recruit, train, motivate, and retain a high‑performance team; conduct briefings, performance reviews, and staff development.

Required profile

• Commercially driven operator with an owner‑mindset.
• Proven track record of managing profitable café or restaurant operations.
• Strong analytical skills to forecast sales, control costs, and identify growth opportunities.
