General Manager – Plant (Food Manufacturing)

About the role

We are seeking an experienced General Manager to lead a large‑scale frozen foods and meat processing plant in Lahore. The role is responsible for end‑to‑end manufacturing operations, ensuring production targets, quality, food safety and cost efficiency are achieved.

Key responsibilities

• Lead overall plant operations including production, planning and execution.
• Achieve production targets while controlling costs and improving efficiency.
• Maintain product quality, food‑safety standards and regulatory compliance.
• Oversee production planning, scheduling and resource allocation.
• Drive continuous‑improvement initiatives across the plant.
• Lead R&D and product‑innovation projects for local and international markets.
• Coordinate with supply‑chain, QA, maintenance and finance functions.
• Optimize manpower utilization and overall plant productivity.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Food Technology/Science, Mechanical, Industrial or Chemical Engineering.
• 10‑15 years of experience in food manufacturing, preferably in frozen foods or meat processing.
• Proven track record of managing large‑scale production facilities.
• Strong knowledge of food‑safety regulations and quality standards.
