General Surgeon – Full-time at Armed Forces Hospital

About the role

We are seeking a full-time General Surgeon to join Armed Forces Hospital in Lahore. The surgeon will deliver a wide range of surgical procedures, oversee pre-operative assessments and manage post-operative care for patients with acute and chronic conditions.

Key responsibilities

• Perform general and upper‑limb surgical operations.
• Conduct pre‑operative evaluations and order diagnostic tests.
• Provide post‑operative management and follow‑up care.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams during clinical rounds.
• Maintain accurate medical records and adhere to hospital protocols and international clinical guidelines.
• Participate in quality‑improvement activities, case reviews and clinical teaching.

Required profile

• Medical degree with completed surgical residency and valid licence to practice.
• Strong clinical judgment and ability to work within multidisciplinary teams.
• Commitment to ethical practice, continuous professional development and patient‑centred care.
