Head of AI Transformation – Operations

About the role

Murkez is looking for a hands‑on Head of AI Transformation – Operations to lead AI and automation initiatives across client‑facing operations and internal back‑office functions. The role will own the end‑to‑end delivery of ideas, from concept through implementation to measurable business impact.

Key responsibilities

• Drive AI transformation across client and internal operations, partnering with delivery teams and internal functions such as Finance, HR and Operations.
• Identify inefficiencies in workflows, propose and implement automation solutions to improve turnaround time, service quality and cost efficiency.
• Build and own an automation roadmap, prioritising initiatives based on ROI, scalability and repeatability.
• Design, develop and deploy production‑ready RPA solutions (UiPath or similar), AI‑driven workflows (LLMs, document processing, copilots) and process automation tools (Power Automate or equivalent).
• Own and report on measurable outcomes – reduction in manual hours, cost savings, utilisation and turnaround improvements.
• Standardise and scale repeatable automation frameworks across multiple client accounts and internal functions.
• Ensure adoption of solutions by delivery and internal teams, provide training and enforce consistent usage.

Required profile

• 8–12+ years of experience in operations, process transformation or consulting.
• Proven track record of delivering automation in operational environments.
• Hands‑on experience with RPA tools, AI/LLM workflows and process automation platforms.
• Strong understanding of finance and back‑office operations.
• Ability to work across internal teams and client‑facing environments.
• Strong ownership mindset, proactive idea generation and execution focus.
