Head of Finance

About the role

The Head of Finance will lead a three‑member finance team, overseeing all accounting, reporting, billing and compliance activities. Reporting directly to the CEO/Director, this role ensures accurate financial information supports strategic decision‑making and operational efficiency.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and continuously improve the accounting system, chart of accounts and financial workflows.
• Supervise bookkeeping, receivables, payables, bank reconciliations and fixed‑asset schedules.
• Prepare periodic financial statements, management reports, profitability analysis and MIS dashboards.
• Design and monitor timely billing processes, manage receivable aging and coordinate recovery actions.
• Maintain accounting records in line with statutory, tax and regulatory requirements and support tax reporting.
• Define team duties, workflows and coordination procedures; assign tasks and ensure professional execution.
• Provide ongoing financial, operational and reporting support to senior management for planning and control.

Required profile

• Proven experience managing a finance or accounting team.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting and tax compliance.
• Ability to design and optimise accounting procedures and systems.
• Excellent analytical skills for budgeting, performance monitoring and decision support.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software.
