Head of Infrastructure

About the role

The Head of Infrastructure will lead end‑to‑end execution of large‑scale infrastructure projects, including data centres, electrical rooms, cooling systems and structured cabling. You will coordinate cross‑functional teams to ensure timely delivery, quality standards and safety compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, schedule and supervise site teams, subcontractors and third‑party vendors.
• Review design documents, shop drawings and technical submittals for constructability.
• Monitor daily progress, prepare site reports and resolve technical bottlenecks.
• Coordinate with planning, procurement and logistics for resource allocation.
• Conduct risk assessments, safety inspections and ensure compliance with project specifications.
• Support installation, testing, commissioning and handover of UPS, LV panels, cooling units, fire‑suppression and BMS.
• Provide input during design and tender stages to improve cost‑effectiveness.
• Train junior engineers and assist in budget tracking and material verification.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Electronics, Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering.
• 6–8 years of infrastructure project experience, with at least 2 years in a supervisory role.
• Proven experience in data‑center, power or facility construction projects.
• Master’s degree in Engineering Management or Project Management is a plus.
• Relevant certifications (CDCP/CDCS, AutoCAD, vendor‑specific training, OSHA/NEBOSH) are desirable.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of MEP systems, electrical layouts, civil coordination and HVAC installation.
• Proficiency with MS Project, Primavera and AutoCAD.
• Ability to read and interpret SLDs, BOQs, load schedules and construction drawings.
• Understanding of commissioning protocols and system integration.
• Site‑level troubleshooting, budgeting and quantity validation.
