About the role

The company is a fast‑growing, multi‑format café and food‑led hospitality business seeking an entrepreneurial, systems‑driven Head of Operations. Reporting to the founding directors, you will act as the operational right‑hand to the founders, replacing an outgoing strategic consultant and building the systems, people, and governance needed for scale.

Key responsibilities

• Lead head‑office management to ensure harmony, prioritisation, and high‑velocity coordination across support and operational departments.
• Own café operations and guest experience, overseeing service flow, SOP execution, and consistent in‑store standards.
• Translate founder vision into execution plans, leadership dashboards, and cross‑functional accountability.
• Ensure product quality and training excellence through audits, training systems, and branch capability development.
• Drive supply‑chain coordination, procurement controls, and cost‑efficient inventory systems.
• Lead people operations, HR, and branch leadership, fostering performance culture and staffing structures.
• Strengthen financial controls, reporting compliance, reconciliations, and operational discipline.
• Build scalable SOPs and governance standards for smaller‑format and franchise‑led expansion models.
• Oversee new branch launches, pre‑opening readiness, hiring, training deployment, and early‑stage stabilisation.

Required profile

• 8–12+ years of experience in hospitality or chain restaurant operations.
• Proven track record in multi‑branch execution with a deep focus on service and quality.
• Strong ability to build SOPs, dashboards, and reporting rhythms.
• Effective people leader capable of making tough decisions.
• Comfortable working closely with founders and scaling emerging brands.
