Head of Pakistan Office – Leadership & Operations

About the role

The Head of Pakistan Office will lead JAP’s Karachi hub, transforming it into a high‑performing delivery centre that supports GCC‑based and other international client engagements. Reporting to the CEO, the role combines strategic leadership with hands‑on operational management across finance, project management, RegTech development and KYC/AML operations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and scale the Karachi office to serve clients in the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Qatar and the wider GCC.
• Provide day‑to‑day leadership for four functional teams: Finance, Project Management, azakaw RegTech development, and KYC/AML operations.
• Ensure operational rigor and quality standards that match those of JAP’s GCC offices.
• Oversee recruitment, retention, performance management and HR administration for all Pakistan‑based staff.
• Manage financial controls, budgeting, reporting and, when required, act as Finance Officer for specific GCC client engagements.
• Coordinate cross‑border activities with the broader JAP and azakaw organisations.

Required profile

• Extensive senior‑level experience in finance, operations or compliance leadership.
• Demonstrated ability to build and manage high‑performing teams in a multi‑disciplinary environment.
• Strong track record of implementing robust financial and operational controls.
• Excellent stakeholder management skills, with experience liaising across regions.
• Willingness to be hands‑on and client‑facing when required.

Required skills
